"I shall here write my thoughts without order, and not perhaps in unintentional confusion; that is true order, which will always indicate my object by its very disorder. I should do too much honour to my subject, if I treated it with order, since I want to show that it is incapable of it" (Pascal, Pensees 373).

"The heritage of values which has been received and handed down is always challenged...To challenge does not necessarily mean to destroy or reject a priori, but above all to put these values to the test in one's own life, and through this existential verification to make them more real, relevant and personal, distinguishing the valid elements in the tradition from false and erroneous ones, or from obsolete forms which can be usefully replaced by others more suited to the times" (John Paul II, Centesimus Annus).
"If there were no obscurity, man would not be sensible of his corruption; if there were no light, man would not hope for a remedy. Thus, it is not only fair, but advantageous to us, that God be partly hidden and partly revealed; since it is equally dangerous to man to know God without knowing his own wretchedness, and to know his own wretchedness without knowing God" (Pascal, Pensees 686).
Cryptography is the study of means of converting information from comprehensible form into an incomprehensible format--the art of encryption. In the past, cryptography helped ensure secrecy in important communications, such as those of spies.
Icon (n): a graphic symbol that denotes a program or a command or a data file or a concept in a graphical user interface; a visual representation of an object or scene or person or abstraction produced on a surface; a religious image on a small panel--venerated in the Eastern Church.

they are SPITTING on Gods promis not to flood the world.. build and arc
its coming.
The people are not "flaunting" anything except to show that they support others in who they are. The "homosexual lifestyle" is nothing to overcome, like a handicap..
I myself am an out and proud gay person. I live just like everyone else, except the person I build my life with is of the same sex..That's the only difference! Get over it!
Laim, nice to see a homosexual post here.
In case you didnt notice, they are in a Catholic Church, the Catholic church is against the Homosexual lifestyle (note: Lifestyle not person) and yet these people seem to think it is alright to go into a catholic Church and recieve communion for going completly against it. Is that right?
And no that is not the only differnce, the average mortality rate of the homosexual person (going by obituaries in a Gay newspaper) was around 41 or something.
Love? What does love have to do with anything? I love my dog, can i marry it? I love bread, can i marry it? I feel discriminated against, I cant marry bread!
Needs to get with it? With what? Be more specific please :)
I know gay relationships are valid. The Church supports them completly. What we dont support is Homosexual relationships.
Get out of the Middle Ages? Original.
Homosexual unions were completly valid..in Ancient Rome. So yeah, I'm living in the middle ages, your living in ANCIENT Rome.
The Church needs to change? Why? We completly LOVE the way we are. Thats enough for your Homosexual marriage, thats enough to keep me 'in the middle ages'
Although I am quite late in the commentary, I would just like to say that, may it be far from reading a great novel, the above writing is greatly entertaining. The sad truth is that the homosexual population, or most of it, desires more than anything to be accepted by heterosexuals, Christians, and Catholics, but they continue to do things that ignite the arguments, the lack of acceptance, and overall dislike for them. If you so desire to be accepted, why do you have to enter a church wearing oversized rainbows just to let everyone know that you can have sex with your partner and not get pregnant? You're different. We're all different. Yet, how often do you see straight people wearing something out of the ordinary and somewhat distasteful to show everyone that they are straight and proud?
@ ogurt
Why are you so sure that this blogger is an uneducated jr high school student? How do you know he is not one of the greatest philosophers of our time?
PS, under your profile, you have Religious Rights listed as likes/interest.
So how about you stop insulting us and stop putting stereotypes on us?
All in all, Stop forcing your morality on us
Oh i didnt see this before my last post:
